WINDSOR youth

Kia ora! Welcome to Windsor Youth! We are a bunch of young, wild, and free teenagers from Years 9-13. We have a bunch of different services, small groups, events, and camps which you can get involved in. We’re excited to have you!

We meet for Youth Night on Wednesdays at 7pm and on Sundays we join with the wider Windsor Park family for Sunday Service in the evening at 6:30. We are a place where you belong, where lifelong friendships are built, and above all, where we come face to face with our infinite-yet-personal God, journeying though life with Jesus.

JOIN THE 40-Hour Famine!

We believe you are powerful. We see you’re unstoppable. We know you’re a generation that shows the world change is possible. So, this time you write the rules!

Last year, as a movement of young people across Windsor & Aotearoa, we stood united with the South Sudanese children seeking refuge in Uganda. We dared to believe change was possible. And we were right!

This year, the 40 Hour Famine will continue to support the children of South Sudan who are seeking refuge in Uganda, by providing essentials like food and clean water as well as emotional and educational support through the money that we fundraise!

Forget what’s been done before. Your imagination is the only limit – whatever idea you have to raise money this year, go for it. From giving up food or your phone, to living out of a backpack, or running a bake sale, no idea is a bad idea.

Sign up at the Info Desk at Church or Youth, and we will get info packs to you!

NextGen 40-Hour Famine Fundraiser: Gold Class Movie

To raise money for this years 40 Hour Famine, we are hosting a NextGen Gold Class Movie and you are invited!

We asked what classic film you wanted to watch, and High School Musical took out the votes! We will be screening the fan-fav at 7pm on June 7th! You will be waited on, snacks and drinks will be provided, the best of the best will be set up and you will have a gold class movie experience for a fraction of the price, while also raising money for our brothers and sisters in need!

Tickets are $10 each (snacks and drinks included) and available for purchase at the info desk after church or youth.

Whether you're a lover of High School Musical or not, this is an epic opportunity to come together as Windsor NextGen to play our part, fundraise and make a difference in our world!

Get excited and get your tickets ASAP.

Weekly hang-outs

High school can be a crazy time as a teenager, finding yourself, finding friends, and growing up. We have an awesome ministry where we get to do that together, journeying in community with our God who provides all we need. Our main youth-only service happens on Wednesdays at 7pm with high-energy praise (Y&F Dance Party!) and games all together, followed by an hour in small groups. We then meet for relevant word and worship on Sunday evenings at 6:30pm, joining our wider church community. We have five year groups which structure our ministry, hosted by the most amazing parent and young adult leaders.

Camps and Events

WP YOUTH also have a number of events and camps throughout the year. A real highlight for us is the annual Northern Easter Camp which Windsor has attended in great numbers for years. It is a huge weekend filled with worship, fun, and encounters with God. Later on in the year, we head on down to DCamp, digging deeper in our faith together as youth. Events such as car rallies, pool parties, the Windsor Ball, or movie nights happen regularly. Keep in the loop on our social media.
