Kia ora! Welcome to YAs at Windsor. If you are around the ages of 18 to mid-20’s, this is the space for you. We are a vibrant community going through the early ages of adulthood, journeying together on this life walk with Jesus: embracing the highs and lows, the struggles and doubts, the celebration and joy. It is our hope that here you come face to face with Christ, experiencing and journeying with the loving, Triune God. Want to figure out what it means to be a young adult in the church? Come join us.
Our main gathering takes place at 6:30pm on Sunday evenings. On top of this, we have a number of events: girls nights, fishing trips, dinners, and quiet days. Want to organise something? Get on board! We’re here to support and equip you to make things happen. We also have a number of different life groups to get involved in, meeting on Tuesday or Thursday nights in people’s homes.
If you want to know more, contact Jess Olivier on 477-0002 or email her here.
At 6:30pm we hold our multi-generational, youth and young adults flavoured service where we do church, word and worship, together. The first Sunday of each month we have communion (in baptist tradition) and then move into a free meal which we share together over in the café. It’s awesome!
There are a number of life groups for young adults which meet in the homes of adult leaders and chat about relevant topics in a more intimate setting. Whether choosing to follow the teaching series at church or dig deeper into certain topics, these spaces are awesome for deep relationship building, Bible study, and prayer. Events are a regular part of YA life at Windsor. BBQ’s, mid-winter Christmas, or anything that involves food are our forte.
