High School Youth

Kia Ora & Welcome To High School Youth!

We're a bunch of young, wild and free teenagers from years 9-13, meeting for Youth Group on Wednesday evenings at 7pm throughout the school term, as well as for epic events and camps throughout the year! We gather with our wider church community on Sundays at our 9am and 10.45am services.

High School Youth is a safe place where you belong, where life-long friendships are built, and above all, where we come face-to-face with our infinite-yet-personal God, journeying though life with Jesus. We'd love to have you join us for Youth!

What Does A Night At Youth Look Like?

We kick off High School Youth Group at 7pm every Wednesday during the school term. Meeting mostly onsite (in the Auditorium), we gather for worship, a message/teach, unpacking what we’ve learnt and praying for one-another in small groups (gender/year group based with young adult leaders facilitating this space), enjoy community and relationships together, all while playing games & having fun, wrapping up the night by 9pm.

We’re all about being real about life, asking questions and delving deeper into our faith together. Youth is a safe environment where everyone is welcome. Come and check it out for yourself!

What Is A Small Group?

A small group is a safe space to delve deeper into the message/teach, ask questions, chat about life, and journey together with others in a similar life stage. Our small groups are facilitated by our youth group leaders, and are made up of people that are the same age/gender to you.

Who Are The Leaders?

Every year group has a set of designated leaders that will journey with our young people from year 9 through until year 13, where possible. We have parent leaders (often the parents of one of the youth into that year group) that are there for extra support to our leaders and youth, and then a set of male and female young adult leaders to journey alongside and mentor our young people. All of our leaders are passionate about journeying alongside our young people, and are interviewed and police vetted. We also run leaders retreats and sessions to help equip and facilitate our leaders to be the best support that they can be for our young people. All leaders report to our Youth Pastor.

Events & Camps - Tell Me About Them!

We run several events and camps throughout the year.

Our two camps take place over Easter Weekend and then in September/October most years. Easter Camp is an inter-church camp at Mystery Creek with thousands of other young people gathering to learn about the Easter story in an engaging, creative, relevant manner, all while having a whole lot of epic fun along the way! Youth Camp is a space for our Windsor Park High Schoolers to gather together for a weekend to grow deeper in our faith and in community together. The theme every year will change, with guest speakers coming in to run seminars, lots of awesome small group times, heaps of amazing activities and more!

Our events throughout the year will range from small groups socials through to all-in events with our Intermediates and High Schoolers. From mini-golf to photo rallys and everything in between, these are incredible nights not to be missed!

To stay in the loop with what events and camps we have coming up, make sure you’re connected into our communication channels by clicking on the icons at the top of this page, and leaving your details with our team via the form at the bottom of this page. Say no to FOMO!

Do I Have To Be Christian To Come Along?

Nope! Anyone and everyone is welcome. Come to see what youth/Christianity is all about, observe, ask any questions and decide for yourself if it’s something that you’d like to explore further. We simply ask that you come respectful of our perspective and faith, and our young people who are exploring their faith. If you would like to find out more about Christianity, we’d love for you to come along to one of our Alpha Courses and/or give you a free Bible to help you start your journey.
