KIA ORA, WELCOME TO HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH!

We are a bunch of young, wild, and free teenagers from Years 9-13. We have a bunch of different services, small groups, events, and camps which you can get involved in. We’re excited to have you!

We meet for Youth Night on Wednesdays at 7pm and on Sundays we join with the wider Windsor Park family for the church at 9.30am. We're a place where you belong, where lifelong friendships are built, and above all, where we come face to face with our infinite-yet-personal God, journeying though life with Jesus.

meet our team

  • caleb finlayson: youth pastor

Caleb has been our Youth Pastor at Windsor Park since 2020, bringing with him experience in Youth Ministry and 24/7 Youth Work. Caleb oversees our Youth Ministry from Year 7 - Year 13, leading the staff team; recruiting, training & equipping our volunteers, facilitating our series, events etc. He's passionate about seeing our young people learn all about our Creator and grow in a relationship with Him. Caleb is a keen runner, loves to keep active at the gym, but most importantly, he adores his wife Rachel and his wonderful children.

  • prisca pieters: high school coordinator

Prisca is new to Windsor Park, relocating up from Christchurch where she worked as a 24/7 Youth Worker, as well as at Etu Tangata (a NZ charity fighting against 'Tall Poppy Syndrome'). As our Youth Coordinator and 24-7 Youth Worker (Rangitoto College), Prisca's focus will be to develop the discipleship culture of our High-School Ministry. This includes the programming of our Youth Ministry and other supporting events, as well as communication, administration and relationship building. This will have a range of both behind the scenes and upfront components. Prisca is passionate about mentoring young people and seeing them become who they were created to be. She will bring intentionality, new ideas, passion and fun to this position!

  • christian Haurua: windsor park praxis intern

Christian joins our team from the other side of the bridge as a Praxis Intern and 24-7 Youth Worker (MBIS and Rangitoto College). His role at Windsor Park is based on a practical partnership with Praxis, as our Windsor Park Intern, volunteering in a range of areas with a focus to provide growth and development in our community. He will also be paid as a 24-7 Youth Worker at both MBIS & Rangitoto College. Christian is passionate about sport and young people, and is taking 2023 as an opportunity to step out of his comfort zone to grow and develop in what gifts God has blessed him with. We're excited to have him bring fresh ideas, new perspectives & enthusiasm to our team!
