Windsor Earth Team: Caring for God’s Creation

The Windsor Earth Team believe that as Christians, we are called to care for the Earth that God has entrusted to us. As Genesis 2:15 says, “The Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to work it and keep it,” – we are called to protect and nurture His creation.

Environmental issues like climate change, pollution, and natural disasters often hit the poor hardest. Isaiah 1:17 calls us to “Learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression,” and we see caring for the environment as part of this justice.

Inspired by the Maori value of Kaitiakitanga – guardianship of the land – we take seriously our role in protecting the Earth. Psalm 115:16 reminds us, “The heavens are the Lord’s heavens, but the earth he has given to the children of man.”

If you’re passionate about the environment and want to help us at Windsor do what we can do leave the Earth a little greener and cleaner, we’d love to hear from you. Get in touch here to volunteer or share your ideas. Together, we can make a difference.
