Kia ora & Welcome to tRIBE!

Tribe is our youth ministry program for intermediate-aged kids. Tribe’s main gathering takes place every Sunday morning at 9.30am in the Youth Shack (currently meeting at the Westlake Girls High School Events Centre due to flood damage).


This is a time filled with games, teaching, and small group. Tribe hosts a number of exciting events throughout the year including All In every second Wednesday during the term, small group socials and camps. Events range from bowling nights, sludge-filled socials, and trivia nights. Over Easter, Tribe heads to E-Camp, a huge intermediate camp hosted at Finlay Park, and during term 3 our intermediates join our high school youth at our very own Youth Camp.

Meet the team

  • caleb finlayson - youth pastor

    Caleb has been our Youth Pastor at Windsor Park since 2020, bringing with him experience in Youth Ministry and 24/7 Youth Work. Caleb oversees our Youth Ministry from Year 7 - Year 13, leading the staff team; recruiting, training & equipping our volunteers, facilitating our series, events etc. He's passionate about seeing our young people learn all about our Creator and grow in a relationship with Him. Caleb is a keen runner, loves to keep active at the gym, but most importantly, he adores his wife Rachel and his wonderful children. 

  • manaia huakau - intermediates coordinator

    Manaia has been a Windsor Parker for over a decade! She's been involved in many of our ministries including Engage, Photography, Youth Leading, Kai Time and more, always serving with joy! As our Intermediates Coordinator and 24-7 Youth Worker (MBIS), her focus is primarily to develop the discipleship culture of our Intermediates Ministry. This will have a range of both behind the scenes & upfront components, including oversite of our leaders, series, events, camps and more. With experience as a Youth Worker at MBIS and being one of our very own youth leaders, she is well equipped to lead our Intermediates, and will bring with her creativity, fun, positivity & her love for Jesus!

  • christian haurua - high school coordinator

    Christian joins our team from the other side of the bridge as a Praxis Intern and 24-7 Youth Worker (MBIS and Rangitoto College). His role at Windsor Park is based on a practical partnership with Praxis, as our Windsor Park Intern, volunteering in a range of areas with a focus to provide growth and development in our community. He will also be paid as a 24-7 Youth Worker at both MBIS & Rangitoto College. Christian is passionate about sport and young people, and is taking 2023 as an opportunity to step out of his comfort zone to grow and develop in what gifts God has blessed him with. We're excited to have him bring fresh ideas, new perspectives & enthusiasm to our team!
