60+ Social: A Trip To Waiheke

Join us on Saturday, March 29th at 9am as our 60+ Social Group head overseas for A Trip To Waiheke.

We’ll meet at the Downtown Ferry Terminal at 9am, catching the 9.30am ferry to Waiheke Island. The exact pier number will be confirmed closer to the date.

Once on the island, we’ll spend most of our time exploring Oneroa, with the possibility of visiting Waiheke Island Baptist Church via public bus if transportation allows. We’ll enjoy lunch at a local café, visit the Waiheke Museum, browse an op shop, or take a walk to Little Oneroa. We are hoping some members of Waiheke Island Baptist Church will join us for the day. Don’t forget your HOP & Gold Card for free local bus and ferry travel, and be sure to bring a raincoat or umbrella just in case.
