60+ Social: A Trip To Waiheke

Join our 60+ for a refreshing walk on Saturday, May 24th, exploring some of the beautiful green bush & reserves in Northcote.

We’ll walk from either Little Shoal Bay or Clarence Road through the bush to Onewa Road, and then on to the Kauri Glen boardwalk, which spans a deep gully in the Kauri Reserve. For those preferring a shorter option, there’s an alternative walk from Gladstone Road (near Northcote College) to the boardwalk and back.

We’ll meet at the Windsor Park Baptist Church carpark at 10am and carpool to Clarence Road, arriving there around 10.30am. You’re also welcome to head straight to Clarence Road if that’s easier for you.

After the walk, we’ll gather for lunch at the Bridgeway Café on Queen Street, Northcote.

Please remember to bring a bottle of water and a raincoat or umbrella, just in case—summer seems to be behind us now!
