Meet some of our wonderful team, most who work behind-the-scenes, at Windsor Park Baptist Church; as well as the key leaders of our wider Windsor Park Group. Our team are passionate about their roles and work hard to serve our communities well. Get to know some of our amazing team below:

  • Grant harris

    LEAD pastor

    Grant has led Windsor Park since October 2008 after leading Northpoint Baptist Church in New Plymouth for seven years. He was a banker before God led a change of career. Grant & Jo have been married for 28 years and they have four young-adult children (two who are married) and three grandchildren. Grant is also chairs the board of Carey Baptist College and Sport Chaplaincy NZ, and in his spare time enjoys trying to keep up with his kids on the wakeboard at Lake Maraetai (which he is unsuccessful at).

  • ROBYN MACKENZIE

    FRONT OFFICE / RECEPTION

    Robyn is the first 'port-of-call' for most things! She's been enjoying working at the busy Windsor Park front desk since 1999 and has been part of the church for 40 years. Robyn is married to Dave and they have eight children and three grandchildren. Outside of work Robyn is passionate about doing jigsaw puzzles and loves walking on the beautiful East Coast Bays beaches.

  • SUE OGILVIE

    PASTOR OF CHURCH CARE  AND WINDSOR PARK LIFECARE CENTRE MANAGER

    Sue has been on staff 2003 and part of the Windsor Park community since 1988. She has been married to James for 40 years and they have five adult children and eight delightful grandsons. Sue loves to spend time with her family and enjoys walking on the beach, especially Wainui Beach, in the summer.

  • ETHAN MILLER

    PASTOR OF ENGAGEMENT AND EQUIPPING

    Formerly the Youth and Young Adults Pastor at Windsor Park, Ethan became Pastor of Engagement and Equipping in December 2020. He completed his degree in Applied Theology at Carey Baptist College in 2016 and was previously pastoring at Eastview Baptist Church in Botany, East Auckland for four and half years, where he was also the 24/7 Youth Work Team Leader at Botany Downs Secondary College. Ethan loves food, sport (especially Basketball), strategic board games, getting out in nature and having deep chats about life and faith.

  • JO CHEYNE

    PASTOR of creative ministries

    Jo has been a part of the Windsor Park family since she and her family moved up from Christchurch in 2011 and she has been on staff since 2012. Jo is married to Ish and together they have two girls Sam and Emma. Jo leads our worship teams and oversees our special services, she has had many years of experience within church worship environments and she is passionate about creating a place and space where people can creatively and corporately worship God together. Jo loves spending time with her family and making the most of these important years of being a mum, which is her greatest joy.

  • CALEB FINLAYSON

    YOUTH PASTOR

    Caleb and his family moved from Pakuranga, East Auckland to Windsor Park early in 2021. He is married to his beautiful wife, Rachel, and together they have three amazing children, twin boys Archer and Oscar, as well as a girl, Harper. Caleb completed his degree at Carey Baptist College in 2015. He has been a Youth Pastor since 2016 and has worked in high schools since 2012. In his spare time, you will find him doing anything fitness or outdoors related—running, cycling, playing any sport or simply enjoying the outdoors and all God’s creation has to offer.

  • Aidan Wivell

    Young Adults engagement team leader

    Aidan joined our team as the Young Adults Engagement Team Leader in July 2021, alongside his studies at Carey Baptist College. Aidan originally arrived at Windsor Park as a 15 year old in 2008 after moving from the UK with his family. Aidan is married to Keely, an ED Nurse at Starship, and the couple were part of our young adults community until Aidan’s previous work in high performance sport took them to Wellington and Sydney. An ideal day for Aidan would start early in the quiet with a good coffee and time to listen to the birds sing, before going for a run and enjoying quality time with Keely.

  • PATSY WAY

    PASTOR OF CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

    Patsy has been part of the Windsor Park since moving to Auckland from South Africa in 2008 and has led a youth/young adult group for many years. She has worked on the Pastoral Care Team for six years before transitioning to windsorKIDS as Director of Children's Ministry late 2017. Patsy is passionate about creating a safe and fun environment where children can learn what it means to do life and faith together whilst experiencing the transforming love of Christ. She has five younger siblings who have prepared her for the chaos of children’s ministry. When she’s not at work you’ll find her either blending tea for her tea business or exploring Auckland beaches and mountains.

  • ROI NU MARAN

    PASTOR, WAIHEKE ISLAND CAMPUS

    Roi Nu loves living on Waiheke Island! Originally from Myanmar, she is Kachin and came to New Zealand as a refugee in 2008. Roi Nu graduated from the Pastoral Leadership Training programme at Carey Baptist College and has recently completed a Postgraduate Diploma of Applied Theology.


    Roi Nu loves preaching and building community with people. Her family is mainly based overseas, her sister and her family are in Auckland. She enjoys entertaining and meeting new people, beach and bush walking, and sampling local food. Roi Nu's next ambition is to ride a horse on Onetangi Beach!

  • Jessica Harris

    communications manager

    Jess has been a part of our Windsor Park staff team for nearly half a decade, initially working in our Youth Team coordinating communications, events and administration, and then kicking off her current role in communications right before the pandemic hit our shores - what timing! We're thrilled to have Jess back with us ready to continue communicating up a storm after returning from maternity leave, where she welcomed wonderful Willow to the world. Jess loves finding new & creative ways to showcase what we have going on in our community, and connecting people to the good news through our various communication platforms. She has a passion for people, serves in our Woven women's team helping put on amazing events for ladies in our community, loves spending time with her family, and enjoys winding down after a long day with some tasty treats and some good old reality telly!

  • ROGER JENSEN

    finance manager

    Roger joined the team of Windsor Park in May 2018. He has a history in financial management and consulting, but spent the first 14 years of his working life as a sheep and beef farmer in the central North island. They breed them tough down there, and Roger is still trying to work out how he managed to miss out on this trait! Married to Joanna, they have four children, a daughter-in-law and two fluffy cats. In his spare time Roger likes to hang out with his family and contemplate the theoretical benefits of walking and other forms of physical exercise.

  • JO HARRIS

    PROPERTY  MANAGER / HEALTH & SAFETY OFFICER

    Jo has been on staff since 2010 (and she's the wife of our Senior Pastor, Grant) and oversees the buildings and infrastructure of the ex-pub/hotel that is Windsor Park, making sure we constantly make it nicer and that the ongoing renovations are, well, ongoing! She also works hard at making sure our site is a safe place for all people to hang out at (she’s our Health-and-Safety Officer!). Outside of work, Jo loves renovating, getting stuck into the garden, and being mum to their four young-adult children and nan to their three gorgeous grandchildren!

  • NAOMI COWAN

    CEO, EQUIP TRUST

    Naomi has been leading the Equip Mental Health service since 2006. Prior to marrying John and bringing up three children, she worked with at-risk youth running camps and programmes as well as fostering young girls. She has been chipping away at Social Work and Business papers at University and in 2009 completed a Graduate Diploma in Business with a Management Major. In her spare time Naomi is a keen cyclist and also loves getting buried in a good book.

  • SHELLEY THORNTON

    general manager, windsor park hub limited

    After successfully managing the Hub's childcare centre for eight years, Shelley now takes on a wider leadership role as Windsor Park Hub's GM. She continues her growth and development within the Windsor Park Group in this inaugural role and her passion for what the Hub is about as a ministry of the church makes this move a natural progression for her. Shelley grew up in Cromwell in the South Island but have been in Auckland for over 13 years now. Shelley and her husband, Jeremy, are proud parents of a gorgeous girl, Brooke, and beautiful son, Cody.

  • sue ogilvie

    MANAGER, WINDSOR PARK lifecare trust

    Sue has been part of the Windsor Park Baptist Church community since 1988, and our Pastor of Church Care since 2003, leading the pastoral care team and training staff and volunteers. She's passionate about developing networks and partnerships and has many years of experience providing holistic support for both the practical and spiritual needs of the community. As Manager of the Windsor Park LifeCare Trust, Sue brings all this passion and experience into the role and is excited about the opportunities ahead to provide even more holistic support for those in our local community. Sue loves spending time with her family. She's been married to James for more than 40 years and has five adult children and 10 delightful grandchildren. She's an active relaxer and enjoys getting out on the water paddle-boarding and walking on the beach to keep her life balanced.
